Avid e-reader users may well fall in love with the new E-Paper display that Samsung is showing off at ISE 2025, the world’s largest professional AV and systems integration event. Unfortunately, this 75-inch 5K (5120 x 2880) behemoth is aimed at retail, where it’s used to display the latest promotions and daily deals outdoors.

Samsung also offers 13-inch (1600” 1200), 25-inch (3200x 1800) and 32-inch (2560x 1440) versions, all for retail. Each model includes a 5000mAh battery, two USB-C ports for charging and data transfer, 8GB of storage, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.
To update the visuals, Samsung has developed a dedicated mobile application that allows them, among other things, to program the screen standby (no need for it to stay on when the store is closed) and playlists. A specific algorithm optimizes the visibility of the display, there is also a preview function to ensure that the content and colors are as accurate as possible.
Samsung's electronic ink technology (Color E-Paper EMDX) is unique in that it does not use any energy to display static images. It consumes a little during image transitions, but less than a traditional display. Prices are unknown, as this type of product is only offered to professionals anyway.
