The year 2025 (and the coming years) promises to be intense for fans of Jurassic Park. In addition to the new film that should arrive this summer with Jurassic World Rebirth, starring Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali, this should be the big return of the cult saga in video games.
In recent years, fans have been able to joyfully discover the different adaptations with the Jurassic World Evolution management games. A third title is already on the program. But that's not all. This year should be the big return of Jurassic Park in video game through an ambitious action title with a view to the first person: Jurassic Park Survival.
And it could be that a third game, unannounced, is also in the pipeline to arrive in the coming months and years if we are to believe the LinkedIn profile of the executive producer at Universal.
Never two without three for Jurassic Park?
Fans on the ResetEra forum have indeed noticed that on the LinkedIn profile of John Melchior, an executive producer at Universal who is in charge of adaptations around the Jurassic Park / Jurassic World series, that a third game, unannounced, is indeed in preparation.
In the list of games he supervises, we can see the mention of Jurassic World Evolution 2 as well as its DLC (the game has been available since November 2021). John Melchior also mentions a Jurassic World game which is probably the third opus of Evolution. We inevitably have the mention of Jurassic Park Survival, announced at the Game Awards 2023 and which should, normally, be released this year.
And finally, we have a game «TBA» which is the mention used for unannounced games. Unfortunately, it is impossible to know more at the moment, and even to know which studio will take care of the production of the title. On the other hand, it is quite intriguing and interesting to see the game listed alongside the other main projects. And we will therefore have to monitor this very closely in the months to come!
