A video model of the iPhone SE 4 confirms several renunciations

The iPhone SE 4 has been piquing our curiosity for several weeks. But that's the norm for such products, many leaks satisfy it well before the official announcement. In mid-January, for example, we were able to take a look at mockups of the iPhone SE 4 showing the smartphone from every angle. Here's an exhibition of the same ilk, but directly on video, please.

If you had seen the aforementioned photos, the sequence proposed by a certain Majin Bu on the social network X will perhaps shake you up more, but not surprise you. Indeed, the model does not change. You will also find photos from the same account at the end of the article.

From the back, this iPhone SE 4 looks like the two previous generations. It sports a single rear sensor with the flash. From the front and side, it looks like the iPhone 14, but with a few concessions. There doesn't seem to be an Action button, while the Lightning port has been replaced by USB-C, in accordance with European regulations. We can also see a physical slot for the SIM card on the left side of the device.

No Dynamic Island

Above all, the recent rumor that suggested the absence of a notch in favor of the Dynamic Island is here disavowed: a notch does indeed occupies the top of the screen.

These visuals do not necessarily reveal anything about the innards of the smartphone. However, its specifications had been the subject of other leaks. The rumors suggest the use of an A18 chip with 8 GB of RAM. On the battery side, a capacity of 3279 mAh, similar to that of the iPhone 14, has been put forward. It would imply a clear progression compared to the 2018 mAh of the iPhone SE 2022.

In addition, at the beginning of the year, a rumor suggested a name change for the iPhone SE 4. This source, whose track record is however fluctuating, then spoke of an iPhone 16E. The informant of the day accompanies his video with the following message: "Here's what the iPhone SE 4 looks like". In other words, he rules out a change of name.

Apple will launch the iPhone SE 4 by next April.
