Free Mobile will not have remained the only French operator to offer access to an AI service for long (in this case Le Chat Pro by Mistral AI). Bouygues Telecom has just followed suit, this time with 12 months of access to the "answer engine" Perplexity Pro. All subscribers can benefit from it, at no additional cost; simply activate access from the customer area, then create an account on the Perplexity website.
More precise answers with Perplexity Pro
After the 12 months, the subscriber will switch to the free Perplexity plan. The Pro version of the service normally costs €22 per month (or €220 per year). A great saving in sight! The American search assistant aggregates several advanced AI models, including GPT4o and Claude 3.5 to find the fastest and most precise answers possible. We're still talking about generative AI, so beware of hallucinations all the same.
Perplexity organizes the answers to make them easier to find, and it is possible to ask questions about the results to go further. In addition, the engine cites its sources and allows you to consult them, which is not necessarily the case for all chatbots.
The premium version of Perplexity allows you to perform 300 "pro" searches per day, it includes more customization options, you can import as many files as you want, not to mention image generation here too using models such as Dall-E and Stable Diffusion.
