After a little treasure hunt that Google has gotten into the habit of doing before revealing the dates of its developer event, the company has finally revealed the truth. The 2025 edition of Google I/O will be held from May 20 to 21, in Mountain View. You can attend in person, or participate in the online workshops.
Google is dangling "new products, technologies and innovations", but we can bet without too much of a mistake that there will be a lot of talk about generative AI, Gemini, Android 16 (already well underway). On the developer blog, the group also talks about the cloud, the web, and more. In short, like every year, Google I/O will be the occasion for a fireworks display of new features.
On the morning of May 20, Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, will open the hostilities with a keynote that will reveal the bulk of the announcements. Then, the new features will be revealed through the presentations. 01net will of course be there!
