Last night, Take Two Interactive held its quarterly review, like many companies, to take stock, with investors, of the company's latest figures (during Q3 of the 2024 fiscal year which ended on December 31, 2024). Beyond After learning that GTA V continues to break all records with 210 million games sold, and that Red Dead Redemption II is also doing very well with over 70 million copies sold, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take Two, returned to the main release of the year: GTA 6.
And apparently, no delays are planned for the moment. The company even seems very confident.
GTA 6: a release for September/October 2025?
During the call with investors, Take Two Interactive recalled countless times that GTA 6, the next game from Rockstar Games was well planned for 2025 and for this fall. The publisher (and parent company of Rockstar) stressed that the development of the game was on track and that they were, more than ever, confident for a release at the end of the year.
Take Two Interactive and in particular Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of the firm also specified that this year, four big releases should allow the company to achieve a record-breaking fiscal year in 2025.

- Mafia: The Old Country, which is scheduled to release this summer.

In parallel with the call with investors, Strauss Zelnick granted an interview to IGN to discuss, once again, the release of Grand Theft Auto VI and their confidence. The CEO of Take Two declared that he and his teams were "very confident" " about a release for this fall. Before adding: "I think the game is very anticipated, both internally and externally. We know that Rockstar strives for perfection. I never claim success before it happens.
