The summer holidays are coming to an end, but Sony intends to cheer up its players during this back-to-school period. The manufacturer has just revealed the monthly selection of titles that PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium subscribers will be able to download in the coming weeks, and there is reason to rejoice! After several months of mixed offers (with the exception of a few good surprises reserved for Extra and Premium subscribers), the catalog is hitting hard with games that finally live up to expectations. Better yet, subscribers will be able to enjoy one of the most anticipated titles of the moment, and this, from the day of its release.
At the top of the bill for September, we find the famous Harry Potter Quidditch Champions. After depriving players of Hogwarts Legacy of the wizards' favorite sport, Warner Bros Games is making up for it as best it can by offering a full-fledged spin-off. Alone or in multiplayer, fans of the saga will be able to live an immersive Quidditch experience for the first time since Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup in 2003. Outside of the PlayStation Plus subscription, Quidditch Champions will cost €29.99, so don't miss out on this opportunity.
Still on the sports theme, subscribers will also be able to add MLB The Show 24 to their library. While baseball is far from being a popular discipline in our country, the few fans of this American sport will be delighted to discover this cutting-edge simulation at no extra cost.
To end on a high note, the September selection will also offer the chance to discover Little Nightmares II, just in time to prepare for the Halloween atmosphere. This second opus released in 2021 is just as immersive and scary as its predecessor, but we will regret the absence of a cooperative mode. For this, players will have to wait for the launch of Little Nightmares III, scheduled for a date still unknown in 2023.
