The arrival of Apple Intelligence in France
While the precise release date of iOS 18.4 is not yet known (Apple had simply indicated April 2025), we already know that European users will finally be able to use features powered by Apple's artificial intelligence on their iPhone. Apple will not only be available on the old continent, but will also be usable in languages other than English, the only language currently supported. Apple Intelligence can be used in German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and of course French, among other things.
You can take advantage of Apple's AI rewriting tools, but also generate emojis with Genmoji, create images with Image Playground, or launch visual searches with Visual Intelligence, Apple's Google Lens.
iOS 18.4 will be full of new features
In addition to the arrival of Apple Intelligence, iOS 18.4 will introduce several new features. Siri will benefit from major improvements. The iOS voice assistant should benefit from Apple Intelligence to better understand you. Siri will finally take into account the personal context, that is to say that Apple's voice assistant will use the information it has about you on the iPhone to offer you more relevant answers.
Siri will also be able to detect the elements displayed on your screen. This will allow it, for example, to detect new features, such as the new address of a loved one, which it will suggest you update in the address book. Above all, Siri will finally be able to act in certain iPhone applications.
iOS 18.4 will also be the update that will introduce new emojis: you will be able to brighten up your conversations with a face with dark circles under your eyes, a fingerprint, a harp, a shovel, a purple splash, a radish or even of a tree trunk.
