Nintendo loses the exclusivity of this game even before its release

While Xbox has given up on the exclusivity war, this is not the case for all manufacturers. PlayStation and Nintendo continue to find their account there, and this is not surprising since they are the consoles that gather the most players. While it is rare for the successful games of one to end up on the other, sometimes the audiences merge. This is the case for Fantasy Life I: The Time Thief, an RPG that was initially supposed to be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

It seems that finally PlayStation players will also be able to enjoy it. Last night, the PlayStation Store published the game's product sheet on its platform, before being suddenly removed. And for good reason, no port or day one release on PlayStation consoles has been announced for now. This appearance confirms, however, that this will indeed be the case (otherwise why create a product sheet?).

Obviously, Sony has absolutely confirmed nothing, just like the publisher LEVEL-5 which produces the title. We will therefore have to wait for an official announcement to be sure of the release conditions of Fantasy Life I: The Time Thief on PS4 and PS5. It is noted that both generations are cited as versions of the game.

April is coming quickly

We remind you that Fantasy Life I: The Time Thief is the new opus of the acclaimed franchise. It transports you to a world where you have the choice of your life, in a city that you must build yourself. Emblematic characters are expected to make their return and it will be necessary to navigate between the reminiscences of the past and the present time to learn more about the mysterious history of the island.

Funny that this appearance occurs on the sidelines of the game's release, the precise date of which has not even been confirmed on Nintendo Switch. We know that the window has been refined to April 2025, after having been postponed by several months. Originally, the title was supposed to be released on October 10, but the publisher's plans did not go as planned.

Still, players will soon be able to taste this Animal Crossing-like in a short time and that is a joy for PlayStation fans who do not have many alternatives to get their teeth into in this area, unlike its competitor Nintendo.
