Nintendo has finally announced its new console, the Switch 2. And like its predecessor, the new machine will be entitled to trial sessions called Nintendo Switch 2 Experience.
Where will the Switch 2 trial sessions take place?
The majority of Nintendo Switch 2 trial sessions will take place in capitals or large cities. For France, it will be Paris, but the sessions last 4 hours, the round trip by train may be worth a try.

How to participate?
To participate in the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience, it is just go to the site of the manufacturer with the red cap.
There, you can register for free to be drawn. Registration runs from January 17, 2025 at 3 p.m. to January 26, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. And rest assured, there is no need to rush to register, Nintendo specifies that "all people who register have the same chance of being selected, whether they do it first or last".
A few important details should be noted: the ticket is nominative. You also need a free Nintendo account.
You also have the possibility of registering up to 6 people. Each person must have a Nintendo account, and if you are part of the same family group, you will have to go to the event together.
What about children
For children, the rules are simple: under 6 years old, a child does not need a ticket, they can accompany an adult equipped with a ticket. From 7 years old, children must obtain a ticket. They can indeed have their own Nintendo account via a family group. From the age of 16, it is possible to create your own account for free.
A clue on the release date?
Beyond the possibility of trying the console in advance, these Nintendo Switch 2 Experience have another attraction. They offer an important clue on the probable release date of the console.
As a reminder, Nintendo has set a date for a live broadcast on April 2, 2025, without specifying the contours of the latter. While it is likely that the Japanese company plans to provide more details on the technical specifications and give a release date and games for its console, we don't know anything about it.
In any case, with a test session planned for April 4 to 6 in Paris, it is of course very likely that the console will not be released not before this date. Let's add that the Nintendo Experience runs until June 1st worldwide. Two interpretations result from this: either the console will not be released before this date, or it will be deployed with a different schedule depending on the country.
It remains that it is possible to base ourselves on the calendar of the previous Switch. Nintendo had in fact organized tests in January 2017, before releasing its console in March 2017. For the tests in France of the Switch 2, this would take us to June 2025. But if we base ourselves on the latest tests in the world, we should rather look at August or September 2025.
