PlayStation Plus: quickly test these 12 games before they disappear

Every month, Sony adds a bunch of games to its PlayStation Plus service. But where there's new content, there are also outgoing games. Subscribers will soon have to say goodbye to a slew of titles by June 18. The company is giving you plenty of notice so you can download the games in question and test them before they leave. Remember that you can only access these games if you have a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscription. Here is the full list of titles that will soon disappear from the catalog:

  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace
  • Dodgeball Academia
  • Grand Theft Auto 5
  • Indivisible
  • Monster Jam Steel Titans
  • MotoGP 23
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated
  • The Talos Principal: Deluxe Edition
  • The Wild at Heart
  • Unturned
  • Baja: Edge of Control HD

The biggest loss for PlayStation players remains GTA 5. It is one of the first games to have crossed three generations of consoles, and still brings together thousands of players around the world. The open-world title is still available for a few more weeks, time to familiarize yourself with the franchise while waiting for the release of GTA 6 in 2025.

Those who like to play with their loved ones (with friends or family) will soon no longer be able to dive into the adventure of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Indie games are not spared since The Wild at Heart, Indivisible and Baja: Edge of Control HD are also leaving the service. Finally, we will have to say goodbye to MotoGP 23, a reference in the world of motorcycle racing simulation.

PlayStation Plus: what are the advantages for what price?

As a reminder, the PlayStation Plus Essential is a subscription service offered by Sony on its consoles giving you access to free downloadable games each month, often three or four in number, and allows you to play online on multiplayer games. The basic subscription is available at the price of €8.99 per month, €24.99 per quarter or €71.99 per year.

The Extra (400 PS4/PS5 games) or Premium (700 PS/PS2/PS3/PS4/PS5 games, streaming on PC, free trials) packages are priced at €13.99 per month / €39.99 per quarter / €125.99 per year for the Extra package or €16.99 per month / €49.99 per quarter / €151.99 per year for the Premium package. If you're still not sure which one to choose, refer to our complete guide.
