In addition to its three traditional smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, which will be presented this Wednesday, January 22, 2025, during the first Galaxy Unpacked of the year, Samsung is reportedly preparing a Galaxy S25 Slim.
And according to a leak from Phone Arena, France would be one of the 39 countries where it would be marketed. The United States would not be part of the said list, but be careful, the media specifies that its list is not exhaustive. According to Phone Arena, the Galaxy S25 Slim could also have another name, Galaxy S25 Special Edition.
What do we already know about the Galaxy S25 Slim?
Unless there is a surprise, the Galaxy S25 Slim should not be presented by Samsung at the same time as its Galaxy S25. Indeed, while the leak schedule has accelerated for the base S25, to the point where there will probably not be much left to present, the S25 Slim is still somewhat mysterious.
With a probable thickness of around 6.4 mm, it could be one of the thinnest smartphones ever produced by the Korean company. But it would not sacrifice much ground on the performance front, since it would still be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite.
However, it would give up ground on the RAM, which would be limited to 12 GB, as well as on the battery capacity, logically reduced to 4700 mAh.
