This is how many Internet users came across a very interesting description on the NewEgg site. On a gift card that is therefore available for purchase on the site, we could read the following description: «2025 Games: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, New 3D Mario, New Mario Kart, Remake/Remaster The Legend of Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, Pokémon Legends: ZA».

Following the buzz generated by this product sheet, the NewEgg site quickly updated its description, which now only displays games confirmed to today: «2025 Games: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, Pokémon Legends: ZA».

So, a buzz to attract new customers? Or a little leak in preview? Hard to say. Rumors of a new Mario 3D are not new and have been circulating on the Internet for several months now. On the other hand, no one had mentioned the arrival of a potential Remaster or Remake of The Legend of Zelda.

For the moment, there are about fifteen titles that would be confirmed to arrive this year on Nintendo Switch2. These titles have been mentioned or confirmed by several concordant sources among the usual journalists and renowned industry insiders. For its part, Nintendo has still not confirmed the slightest information, and will wait patiently until April 2, 2025 to do so.
