Since the last State of Play in September 2024, PlayStation has not communicated about its future games and what awaits us for 2025. We already know that Sucker Punch's next game, Ghost of Yotei will arrive this year. For the rest, it's still very vague and players are wondering what they'll be able to discover on their PS5 and their PS5 in the coming months.
We might have the start of an answer very soon, as early as next week with the holding of a new State of Play, according to Nate the Hate, the insider who had confirmed the presentation of the Switch 2 on January 16th.
A State of Play for Valentine's Day?

Last night was Capcom's new press conference, allowing us to learn a little more about titles like Monster Hunter Wilds (which is coming very soon), but also the next Onimusha. It was during this evening that streamer PH Brazil mentioned during his LIVE the holding of Sony's next State of Play to unveil upcoming PS5 games (and perhaps PSVR2).
According to the latter, Nate the Hate's information is indeed official and a new State of Play could well take place next week. The streamer mentions the date of Friday, February 14, 2025. With the different time zones, it is difficult to know if the latter is talking about a conference on Friday, or a conference on the night of Thursday to Friday (which Sony usually does). In any case, everything is tightening up and seems to confirm the arrival of a new communication time in the coming days.

For several years now, PlayStation has been in the habit of starting the year with a State of Play to present the games to coming in the coming weeks and months. Last year, the State of Play was scheduled for January 31. In 2021 and 2023, the event was scheduled for February 23 and 25. And in 2022, the State of Play was held on March 9.
This year, the event could be scheduled for next week, for Wednesday, February 12 or Thursday, February 13, 2025, according to Nate the Hate, the insider who had already hinted that an event would be held this month and who had mostly confirmed the presentation of the Nintendo Switch 2 in January.
For the moment, no more information and we do not yet know which games could be presented. If the information is confirmed, Sony should communicate next Monday or Tuesday, as usual.
To date, two big games are expected on PS5 in 2025 with Ghost of Yotei, the next title from Sucker Punch, and the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima (2020). As well as Death Strangind2: On The Beach, the game from Hideo Kojima and the sequel to the first Death Stranding (from 2019).
