The pro vision could be sold elsewhere than in the Apple Store

We were expecting the 4th generation of the iPhone SE, but the new smartphone could wait a few more days before being unveiled. Apple has still been very active this week, between the Powerbeats Pro 2 headphones and the Apple TV app for Android.

The Vision Pro in all stores

And it's not the weekend yet for the computer manufacturer. Mark Gurman has dangled an announcement concerning the Vision Pro for Friday, or to be more precise, a meeting with the press on an upcoming announcement for the mixed reality headset.

It would be very clever to guess what it is! We can risk support for the PS VR2 controllers, which has been rumored for some time. But it could be something much more down to earth. Leaker Aaron P has discovered the discreet presence in the App Store of an application called Vision Pro Demo Fit, which is only available through a hidden link.

This is not Apple Vision Pro Fit, a freely available app intended for professional customers to determine the correct size of the headbands supplied with the headset. This new application, with "demo" in its name, will clearly be used by third-party resellers to perform the same function.

Which means that the Vision Pro will be able to be tested in stores other than physical Apple Stores... and why not sold! Until now, in fact, the device can only be purchased from Apple. This would allow the headset to find new outlets: it really needs it, sales are not at their best. Although selling the Vision Pro would be a bit of a hassle, given the number of different headband sizes, and lenses for anyone who wears glasses.
