Apple will welcome a "new member" to the family on Wednesday, February 19, announces Tim Cook on Twitter. Everyone has their eyes fixed on the future iPhone SE, whose 4th generation has been rumored for months... and which could finally be unveiled next week!
A little more patience before the new iPhone SE
The CEO of Apple does not give any other details obviously, it is a question of stirring up the sauce around a device whose last generation did not generate much enthusiasm with its faded design and old-fashioned functions. The new “affordable” smartphone model could borrow the design of the iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch screen topped with a notch for Face ID, an A18 chip and enough RAM to run Apple Intelligence.
The fact that the Apple boss speaks of a “new member” suggests that this new iPhone SE could change its name to get closer to the iPhone 16 “family”. A indiscretion had mentioned the possibility of an "iPhone 16E", so why not.
Apple has been busy since the beginning of the week, with the launch of the Powerbeats Pro 2 and then the Apple TV app for Android. The iPhone SE 4 was supposed to crown the week, but we will probably have to wait a few more days.
