We will finally know everything about the Galaxy S25 on January 22, the date of Samsung's first Unpacked event of the year. To be completely honest, smartphones no longer really hold any secrets given the usual flood of indiscretions and rumors in recent months! On the other hand, the manufacturer can still surprise its world in terms of prices. And a leak is hardly encouraging.
A hundred euros more
The Italian reseller Zanetti has in fact temporarily put online the product sheets of the future smartphones, without description or technical characteristics, but... with prices. The latter are a little surprising. The 128 GB Galaxy S25 was priced at €973, the 256 GB version at €1036 and the 512 GB version at €1162.
The Galaxy S25+ was offered at €1246 (256 GB) and €1371 (512 GB). Finally, the Galaxy S25 Ultra was at €1571 (256 GB), €1696 (512 GB) and €1948 (1 TB). Surprising prices, given that Samsung generally prefers them to end in 49 or 99 (€1149, for example), due to psychological effect. This could be a publicity stunt for the reseller, as happens from time to time.
In any case, these prices mainly reflect an upcoming increase. The Galaxy S24 thus comes back to €799 (128GB), the S24+ to €1119 (512GB), the S24 Ultra to €1369 (256GB). Obviously, this is without taking into account the game of promotions and discounts, which Samsung is offering right now — and it is possible to find these devices at even lower prices at retailers.
We must therefore expect a waltz of labels for the future S25 range, with an increase that could be around a hundred euros more. Samsung will have to justify this increase by bringing serious new features to its smartphones!
