One UI 7 is undoubtedly the most interesting element of the Galaxy S25. We devoted many lines to it in our test of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Korean brand knows this so well that it did not want to announce dates for the arrival of its brand new interface on the “older” models. A way, no doubt, to not steal the spotlight from its high-end smartphones.
One UI 7 is coming at the end of March
Leaker Tarun Vats, who works on Twitter (now x.com), claims that the Galaxy S24 FE will receive the update on March 31, 2025.
He adds that the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra should be served before this date.
Generally, the very first smartphones to receive a new interface are the high-end ones of the previous generation. We can therefore estimate that in addition to the Galaxy S24, the 2024 foldables, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 should also benefit from it before March 31.
What are the advantages of One UI 7?
The new Samsung interface overhauls a number of elements and adds AI features, such as Now Bar, an interactive bar at the bottom of the screen that imitates the iPhone's Dynamic Island.
We can also mention Now Brief, a sort of central hub that brings together widgets, or even better integration of Google's conversational robot, Gemini.
