In its fourth episode, Daredevil Born Again features a Marvel heroine that we might see again in other series or films. Who is she exactly?
We suspected it from the beginning of the series, but the more it progresses, the more it is confirmed: Daredevil Born Again is firmly anchored in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She's even recently been given an official spot. At the time of publishing this article, Disney+ has just released the fourth episode, out of nine in total. We're not even halfway through yet, and already the more or less overt references to characters from the Marvel stable are multiplying.
Among them, some were expected, like the Punisher, who is taking advantage of his return to redefine his character. Others make a more subtle appearance, like the one we can spot during episode 4. As you might expect, we're going to have to spoil what happens in the series, so don't read on if you're behind on watching it or if you're waiting for the full season to be available before diving in.
This Marvel superhero makes an appearance in episode 4 of Daredevil Born Again
At the end of episode 3 of Daredevil Born Again, Hector Ayala, aka the White Tiger, is killed, probably by a corrupt police officer. Remember that the actor who played the character, Kamar de los Reyes, died in 2023. Episode 4 begins directly after this tragic event with the arrival of Matt Murdock at the morgue. It is there that a young girl joins him, and not just any girl since it is Angela Del Toro, the niece of Hector Alaya.

Her name may not mean anything to you, and yet she is none other than the fourth incarnation of White Tiger in the comics, where She is introduced as an FBI agent investigating vigilantes. The young woman takes up her uncle's costume after his murder. Should we see her introduction in the series as the announcement of a potential Young Avenger? Or is it a wink? The sequel to Daredevil Born Again will tell us.
