Despite the silence from Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, the gaming world continues to discuss GTA 6 at the top of its lungs. It must be said that the new entry in one of the most famous video game licenses is highly anticipated while being the subject of much rumor. That said, some fans are trying to pass the time by bringing the future game to life in their own way. However, this is not to the publisher's taste. Once again, the axe has fallen.
C'est la fin pour cette version de GTA 6
À In the absence of anything new for GTA 6, some fans are taking the lead. A certain Dark Space, for example, has undertaken to recreate the game's map... in Grand Theft Auto V! To do this, he worked from the game's first trailer, already known elements of the city and photos of the real locations from which it is inspired. It's a major project that he has been working on for several months already.
However, you know Take-Two's deep dislike for modding and fanmade creations. More than once, Rockstar's parent company has taken down mods and other amateur projects around GTA. Until now, Dark Space hoped that his homemade GTA 6 map had nothing to fear. But that was without counting on the company's stubbornness.
So, last weekend, the modder-creator announced some sad news. Unfortunately, the videos of his GTA 6 map were flagged by Take-Two on YouTube. Since then, they are no longer available online. This is a hard blow for Dark Space, which, even though he was working on this project for himself, can no longer present his progress to a community that is in high demand for such productions. What's more, he has received no prior warning from the publisher. Today, some of his work can still be seen on certain social networks, such as his integration of Vice Beach into GTA 5. This is probably one of the last public testimonies of his work on this long-term project.
