In December, it's the hecatombe for the Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will soon have to give up on new games. The service offered by Microsoft is constantly being renewed and title departures are commonplace. But there are some deletions that hurt more than others. In November, the catalog was enriched with some real gems, but suffered heavy losses in return. Unfortunately, this trend will continue to mid-December, much to the dismay of gamers.

This time, the official Xbox website reveals that six major titles will be leaving in the coming weeks, without further details on the exact date. Fans of horror, racing or adventure therefore do not have much time left to enjoy the following games:

How to keep the games you are interested in?

If you are a subscriber to the Ultimate or PC plans of Game Pass, you are in luck. These subscriptions allow you to benefit from a reduction of up to 20% on the titles in the catalog. Thus, it is possible to buy the games that interest you at a reduced price before they leave the selection. Unfortunately, there is no other way to keep access to these titles, but sometimes certain productions make a comeback, although this chance is not guaranteed.

How does Xbox Game Pass work?

As a reminder, Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service offered by Microsoft on Xbox and PC. Following the changes to the plans and the increases announced last July, new console subscribers must now choose between Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (17.99 euros per month), Xbox Game Pass Standard (12.99 euros per month) orXbox Game Pass Core (6.99 euros per month).

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives access to the entire catalog (day one releases and EA Play) and allows you to play on console, PC and cloud. Xbox Game Pass Standard gives access to hundreds of games (except day one releases and certain titles) and allows you to play online. Xbox Game Pass Core includes: it more than 35 games and access to online multiplayer (this is the successor to Xbox Live Gold). Finally, the Game Pass PC is now billed at €11.99and offers access to the entire catalog as well as EA Play.
