Inzoi: the confirmed and DLC -free seasons system

The good news keeps rolling in for inZoi with just a month to go until its Early Access release. Today, Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim, the game's creator, has once again spoken out to confirm a feature very important that will be implemented directly in the base game, and at no additional cost, without the need to purchase a DLC or expansion.

Weather and seasons confirmed in inZoi

Inzoi: the confirmed and DLC -free seasons system

It's now official, inZoi will indeed offer a dynamic weather system and a real-time seasons system, directly in its base game, without having to purchase a DLC or an expansion. It was the game's creator, Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim who confirmed the information on the game's community Discord.

After confirming pets a few weeks ago, this is another very good news that has been validated by the inZoi Studio team. We learn that the game will offer a real-time season system depending on the city you play in. inZoi will offer two cities with Dowon, inspired by Korean urban areas which has a climate conducive to the four seasons, including snow. The second city, Bliss Bay, will be inspired by Southern California and will offer milder winters, leaving very little chance for its inhabitants to see snow.

inZoi Studio specifies however that with the city editing mode, you will be able to adapt the weather and the season. However, the development team still wants to keep a balance between the realism imposed and the choice left to the players.

Still on the weather side, we learn that the Zoi can get sick and even die of cold if they go outside without being dressed. We can therefore see that in addition to integrating the system of seasons and weather in the base game, these will be even more advanced than in the Sims.

inZoi will be available for free in early access from March 28th on PC. The game will arrive later in a paid, definitive version on PC, then on consoles.
