One UI 7: Test the Samsung interface on any smartphone with this application

With the imminent arrival of One UI 7, Samsung wants to attract users' attention by updating its Try Galaxy app. Initially designed to appeal to iPhone users, the app is now available on Android smartphones. It allows you to test the latest new features of the interface, while waiting for its official deployment scheduled for April.

A good overview of One UI 7

The Try Galaxy app is being updated to show the main new features of Samsung's new One UI 7 interface, based on Android 15. Among the highlighted features is the Now Brief, a discreet widget that displays important information at the bottom of the lock screen. This dynamic briefing system allows you, for example, to group information about the weather or your calendar in one place, among other things.

Another notable change to discover on One UI 7: the redesign of the quick settings panel. Samsung now clearly separates notifications from the control center. Finally, Try Galaxy also allows you to discover the new icon design and the updated app drawer, which has also benefited from a lick of paint. On the other hand, the AI features are displayed, but not functional.

It's easy to do:

  1. Go to this page from your web browser;
  2. Download the app by scanning the QR code with your phone. If you're already on your smartphone, click on your browser settings in the top right corner and click "Add to Home Screen". It is also possible that a window will appear at the top of your browser to suggest that you install the application directly;
  3. Once the application is installed, you just have to let yourself be guided to discover the main new features of One UI 7.

After a quick tutorial, you will be able to navigate through the main elements of the interface, such as the new shortcuts panel, settings, the application drawer as well as some examples of features. Everything is obviously not 100% functional and is simply intended to give you a sneak peek.

Android users who don't have a Samsung smartphone will be happy to be able to do this, but those who already have a Samsung device and are still waiting for the update day are something to cringe at.
