One UI 7 is, so to speak, the big new feature of the Galaxy S25, presented at the beginning of 2025. The Samsung Galaxy interface offers a nice refresh with a reworked design, new animations and a host of new options.
This year, the interface is also quite special because of its deployment schedule. Why is that? Because Google is starting to roll out Android 16, which should arrive in stable version in May 2025. At the same time, Samsung is waiting until April 7 to offer One UI 7, based on Android 15 on products other than the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy A56, A36 and A26.
In addition, some features will remain exclusive to the most expensive models while others will descend to other models. Enough to be a little lost as to the treatment your own Samsung should receive. So let's take a look together at the One UI 7 release schedule and the features to expect.
The list of Galaxy devices that should receive One UI 7
First of all, let's detail the smartphones that already use One UI 7:
- Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra
- Galaxy A56, A36 and A26
Now, let's take a look at the devices that will receive the update on April 7. To do this, we can rely on the official communication from Samsung in this regard. Here is the list of the privileged few:
- Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra
- Galaxy S24 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy S23 FE
- Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
- Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus and Tab S9 Ultra
However, it should be noted that not all models will be in the same boat. In fact, only the 2024 models (Galaxy S24, Tab S10, and the Fold/Flip 6) will be able to have the same experience as the Galaxy S25. Well, almost. In order to create a range effect in favor of the 2025 models, Samsung has not integrated Now Brief, a fairly well-designed hub system that summarizes the day ahead or the one that has just ended.
From the Galaxy S23, you will have to cross off at least one feature, the audio eraser, which allows you to isolate certain specific sounds (music, voices, traffic noise) and attenuate them.
The list of smartphones that should receive One UI 7
For the rest of the Galaxy smartphones, the Korean firm has not yet communicated an official schedule. On the other hand, based on the manufacturer's promises of the number of years of updates, we can establish the following list.
Here are the smartphones that should probably receive One UI 7 in the coming weeks and months after April 7, 2025:

- Samsung Galaxy A15 4G and Samsung Galaxy A15 5G
- Samsung Galaxy A16 4G and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G

- Samsung Galaxy A33, Samsung Galaxy A34 and Samsung Galaxy A35
- Samsung Galaxy A53, Samsung Galaxy A54 and Samsung Galaxy A55

- Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
- Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
Since the same effects produce the same causes, we don't know what features the Korean giant will keep for these products.
What features does One UI 7 bring?
One UI 7 is already a work on aesthetics and user experience. Samsung has reworked the icons, reorganized the shortcuts panel, added the help of a shortcut bar on the lock screen, the famous Now Bar, and added transparency to all levels.
But One UI 7 is also full of features that continue the work started by Galaxy AI in early 2024. We therefore have the classics like the writing assistant which is improving or the AI search in the settings which makes life easier. The smartphone also integrates the AI selection which allows you to bounce to many shortcuts from a simple capture.
Let's also mention the new Google Gemini capable of using the functionalities of several applications in a single prompt without even needing to open said applications.
