Sony reveals the Inson M10S, an OLED 480 HZ Ultra-Premium monitor

Sony has just unveiled a new OLED gaming monitor that stands out for its speed. This InZone M10S, developed in partnership with the Fnatic esports team specifically for hardcore competitors, offers a refresh rate of 480 Hz with a response time of just 0.03 ms and a QHD 1440p resolution. To our knowledge, this makes it the fastest OLED monitor on the market, tied perfect with the Swift OLED presented by ROG last month.

Beyond this stripping framerate, this device seems remarkably well balanced. Its 1440p resolution is an excellent compromise in a 27-inch chassis, as it does not limit the user's ability to enjoy RPGs with sumptuous landscapes between two games of Counter Strike, Valorant, and so on.

Top-level color performance

Indeed, the InZone M10S also displays top-notch color performance thanks to all the advantages inherent in OLED technology: extremely high contrast ratio, vibrant colors, almost perfect blacks, generous viewing angle... Add to that the Micro Lens Array+ technology which allows for a brightness of very high 1300 nits and support for the DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard, and you get a premium panel that is definitely very tempting for all gamer profiles.

Despite this versatility, this monitor remains fundamentally geared towards competitive gaming. Sony indicates that it has an FPS Pro mode that emulates the image characteristics of TN panel LCD screens. This is a display technology traditionally known for its speed, hence its popularity in the esports ecosystem, but not so much for its color performance. Traditionally, users have had to choose between image quality and response time; but the InZone M10S promises the best of both worlds in a single device.

In terms of connectivity, it has HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 2.1 to support the latest generations of graphics cards.

However, you will have to make a significant financial sacrifice to afford this superb screen. It will be sold at from next October at a price of 1349€ — an astronomical price, two to three times higher than the majority of other 27-inch OLED gaming monitors.
