Twitchcon events will return to physics in 2022

This year 2021 will once again have suffered the backlash of the global pandemic and forced many video game events to be held remotely. However, recent international vaccination campaigns suggest a glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel and some organizers are already betting on physical events as early as 2022.

This is also the case for Twitch, which has already announced the return of its in-person TwitchCon in about ten months. On Twitter, the company gives us two dates: one in July and one in October, in Amsterdam and San Diego respectively. For the moment, the terms of participation as well as the precise dates have not yet been communicated, it is perhaps still a little early to advance.

Nothing is won in advance

While this is excellent news for all gamers eager for livestreams and video game shows, we are never safe from a return to back to square one, and that's why Twitch prefers to cover its rear:

In the meantime, Twitch has not yet given any news about its GlitchCon, the virtual edition of TwitchCon held this year in an exceptional manner. As a result, it is not yet known whether a second date is to be planned for 2021, or whether this single edition will be enough in itself.
