It Takes Two is a remarkable narrative game that can only be played once with the same person, and many people have already polished this classic cooperative game. On the other hand, it can be restarted again and again with different gaming (or life) partners. Speaking from experience, EA's title has a different flavor depending on who you share it with, and it can sometimes mean different things depending on your intentions.
In this title, you and your gaming partner play as two members of a couple on the verge of divorce. After telling their daughter Rose, they are suddenly transported into the bodies of two dolls in their image, with no immediate way out. They will then have to unite and collaborate, with the help of a magic book, in order to find a solution to their real problem.

Available since February 14, 2023 (what timing), Blanc was born under the auspices of love. This independent game available on Nintendo Switch and PC invites you to discover a story as soft as snow. A wolf cub and a fawn find themselves alone after a snowstorm, so they will have to help each other find their respective families.
In this game, it is above all the characters against their environment, while the weather and various obstacles make the road more complicated to travel. The Dark Pictures Anthology
There is something for everyone, and some prefer to comfort themselves after a session of horror instead of being lulled by romance. If that’s you, then go for any installment of the The Dark Pictures saga. It offers 4 different games based on terrifying stories and playable in cooperation.
The narrative is at the center of the plot, so you won’t have a lot of action to take to be scared. However, you will have to determine the fate of each of the characters thanks to the choices you will make throughout the adventure. Personally, we highly recommend Little Hope and House of Ashes which are the most immersive.
Heave Ho
We end with two lighter recommendations, to get your teeth into at any time of the year. Much less narrative than our other proposals, in Heave Ho you have to control a small round character with long extendable arms. The goal is simple: cooperate to cross levels full of pitfalls by clinging to walls and other players to advance without falling into the void.
The controls are simple and accessible, while the artistic direction immerses you in its colorful and soft universe. Team spirit is obviously necessary to complete the levels, and good communication is also greatly appreciated.
Moving Out (1 and 2)
In the same atmosphere, Moving Out is a franchise that will create your best memories in front of a video game. Laughter is guaranteed in both moving simulation games. In addition to having fairly approximate physics, you will sometimes have to put up with completely crazy environments, bordering on the absurd. Moving pigs on a farm? Nothing unusual for Moving Out. Don’t hesitate to throw the couch through the window either, it saves you an incredible amount of time… provided you’re in sync.
