We know the PS Plus games for the month of December. Like every month, Sony reveals the new titles that will be offered to PS Plus Essential, Extra and Premium subscribers. And for this month of December, we have the right to: heavy, very heavy!
Great classics on PS Plus
These are the games that will celebrate PlayStation's 30th anniversary (on December 3). And for the occasion, you're going to have very nice things to discover.
We start with It Takes Two, the video game of the year 2021 which will be available on PS4 and PS5. The opportunity to discover (as a couple) the wonderful story of May and Cody, a couple who will have to save their marriage to win back the love of their little girl. A funny, moving, original game, which offers you a great variety in terms of its gameplay.
The second game will be Aliens: Dark Descent, the famous horror game released last year. This title immerses you on the moon Lethe in 2198 which faces a terrible Xenomorph infestation, which led to the activation of the Cerberus Protocol, the most extreme planetary confinement. You are part of a team of colonial marines who have just crashed on the moon and who will have to fight the infestation while saving as many colonists as possible and gathering resources in order to repair their ship and leave the planet.
And finally, you will be able to treat yourself to TemTem on PS5, the famous game, largely inspired by Pokémon, which will allow you to go hunting for monsters, alone or online.
These new games will be available for download at starting December 3rd and ending January 6th, 2025. That means it's your last chance to download November's games: Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Death Note Killer Within.
This month, for PlayStation's 30th anniversary, you're also getting a new game trial with Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 starting December 3rd for Premium members. Premium members will also be able to access three huge PS2 classics with Sly2: Band of Thieves, Sly3: Honor Among Thieves and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
In December, PlayStation will offer on PS Plus:
- A free online multiplayer weekend from December 6 to 8 on PS4 and PS5, without the need for a PS Plus subscription.
- An e-sports tournament on the same weekend, with titles such as EA Sports FC 25, NBA 2K25, Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, Madden NFL 25, College Football 25, UFC 5, MLB The Show 24 and Guilty Gear Strive.
- A drawing to win 30 months of PS Plus Premium for 30 winners, with registration open from December 10th to 23rd.
- 30% off movies offered by Sony Pictures Core from December 3rd to 9th.
- A movie credit on Sony Pictures Core with any purchase of a 12-month PS Plus subscription from December 10th to January 10th, 2025.
