Orange TV subscribers will be delighted to discover the five new channels integrated into the platform. Good news, Canadian scientists have found a trick to rejuvenate our brains.
Android Auto 14.0: What does Google have in store for us?
While version 14.0 doesn't bring any major changes, it fixes several bugs and strengthens the foundations of Android Auto. This approach suggests Google's plans to bring new options to its in-car system. However, the Google Assistant microphone icon has been modified, and this change in appearance certainly heralds the future integration of Gemini. Launched in beta in March, Android Auto 14.0 is now available to everyone.

Does the Switch 2 price increase make sense?
According to Shawn Layden, Nintendo is offering exclusives and content which justify the price increases of the Switch 2 and its games. According to him, the customer base should remain loyal despite the price of the Switch 2 because players will want to continue playing Zelda, Donkey Kong and of course Mario. He does admit, however, that Nintendo has been aggressive in its pricing policy and that the price of the new console is "steep."

One UI 7: two features specially designed for Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold
The deployment of One UI 7 is finally picking up speed, and it's time to take stock of the new features that come with this new version of the system. This week, we're discovering two new features exclusive to the Galaxy Z Fold. Indeed, only the Korean manufacturer's high-end foldable devices will be able to take advantage of the new taskbar and the "column view" mode that has been added to the My Files application. Two modest additions that nevertheless demonstrate Samsung's desire to continually improve the user experience on its most innovative models.

What if you could rejuvenate your brain...
Scientists at the University of British Columbia decided to conduct a study on our smartphone usage and the impact it has on our brains. The results were clear: by cutting off the internet for two weeks, all the volunteers improved their concentration and slept better. The anxiety levels measured also dropped significantly. According to researchers, using our smartphones sparingly, alternating with other outdoor activities, could help rejuvenate our brains.

Our tests of the week
Apple iPhone 16e: Great new features but too high a price
The iPhone 16e will win you over with its modern design, its action button, the power and stability of its processor, and its beautiful, well-calibrated screen. During our test, we were won over by the photo results and the audio experience. That being said, all these strong points don't deserve such a high price, and the competition offers even more complete experiences for the same price. Indeed, charging is quite slow, the platform overheats, and you'll have to do without Dynamic Island, WiFi 7, or even a wide angle.

TCL C765: a complete spec sheet for a reasonable price
TCL offers a good television here that combines an attractive price with an ultra-complete spec sheet. We love its premium aluminum frame, the very practical smartphone app, the brightness of the mini-LED panel and the Freesync and G-sync compatibility. Be careful, the stand is not very practical for a sound bar, the colorimetry is not always very well respected and we regret the absence of a rechargeable battery for the remote control.

Samsung Galaxy A265G: a mid-range that struggles against the competition
While we appreciate the design of the Galaxy A26 5G, its decent performance and its total waterproofing, we must admit that it is not the champion of the mid-range. The battery life is low, wired charging is slow, the headphone jack has disappeared and the display brightness is low. It's hard to recommend the A26 5G when other smartphones like the Xiaomi Poco X7 or the Galaxy A35 offer much more impressive specs for a similar price.

Google Pixel 9a: good value for money
If you're looking for a smartphone that combines stable performance, good battery life, sharp photos, and a beautiful, bright display for a reasonable price, the Pixel 9a might be worth your attention. The audio experience could be improved, audio charging is too slow, and the platform overheats slightly when used, but the Pixel 9a remains very good value for money.
