Doctor Who season 2: when and how to watch the new episodes?

Ready to take another ride in the TARDIS? Next week, the Doctor will return to our screens with the second season of his second reboot. The arrival of Ncuti Gatwa in the cult role in 2023 marked the beginning of a new era for the series. The season numbering is therefore back to square one: a soft reboot designed to attract a new audience, notably thanks to the worldwide broadcast on Disney+. And if you're here, it's because you can't wait to discover the rest of these adventures. After a first series of episodes devoted to the character of Ruby Sunday, the Time Lord changes his traveling partner.

Poor Belinda Chandra (played by actress Varanda Sethu) has no desire to endure the Doctor's chaotic daily life, but unfortunately has no choice but to follow him. Supernatural forces prevent her from returning to Earth, and the new duo will therefore have to solve this mystery... which seems to have its roots in the heroine's identity. Her face is probably familiar to you: the actress was already present in the episode "BOOM!" of the first season, in the role of Mundy Flynn on the planet Kastarion 3. On paper, this new season promises an intriguing storyline, and we won't have to wait long before we can judge for ourselves.

When does season 2 of Doctor Who start on Disney+?

Around the world, new episodes of the series will arrive on Disney+ drop by drop at From April 12th. In France, episodes will be uploaded to the streaming platform from 10 a.m. However, UK residents will have to turn to the BBC services. If this is your case, you will be able to connect to the BBC iPlayer platform from 8 a.m. (local time, GMT). Every Saturday, the episode of the day will also be broadcast on the BBC One channel late in the afternoon.
