Enola Holmes 3 gives news

It's official, Enola Holmes will soon be back on our screens. Netflix has just shared, not a still from the set as we hear, but a photo of its two leading actors on what appears to be the set. Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge are ready to put on their Enola Holmes and Tewkesbury costumes again for the budding private detective's third installment.

The third installment will be directed by Philip Barantini, known for his work on Boiling Point. He succeeds Harry Bradbeer, director of the first two films. Barantini envisions a darker, more mature take on the franchise, comparing his approach to the impact The Prisoner of Azkaban had on the Harry Potter series. Henry Cavill, Helena Boham-Carter, Himesh Patel, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster will all return to the cast.

A 2025 release?

It's unclear whether this will be the final installment or if Netflix will expand its universe into a more complete saga. No release date has been announced yet. Taking into account production and post-production deadlines, the film's release is expected to be late 2025 or early 2026.

It must be said that Millie Bobby Brown has been on all fronts for the past few years. The Netflix recruit, whom most people discovered in Stranger Things, has a busy schedule. She juggles her usual projects – Enola Holmes, the final season of Stranger Things – her more occasional roles, such as in The Damsel and the Dragon or The Electric State, and her business activities. The actress owns her own cosmetics and clothing brand.

Henry Cavill is also very busy. While he no longer has a role to play in The Witcher, he is reportedly starring in the Warhammer series, the Mass Effect series, and is covering other projects in the film world.
