The poor guy hasn't exactly had any luck in the big screen, with a highly controversial appearance in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Audiences still remember his portrayal as a cosmic storm, a far cry from his iconic appearance. Fans were hoping he would finally be respected. While it all seemed likely, it's now confirmed thanks to... a leaked promotional poster.

Fans can breathe easy: the character is faithful to the comics. In itself, this is not surprising, because with this film, Marvel is very respectful of the Fantastic Four universe. We can even say that no adaptation has ever been as close to the source material in the MCU, even if the first Captain America is a good customer. Of course, we'll have to wait to see the film to be sure, but if we go by Galactus alone, whether in this image or in the trailers, Marvel seems to have succeeded. On the other hand, is this fidelity due to genuine artistic respect or to Disney's desire not to take risks? It's hard to say.
