J.K. Rowling is not unanimous with her comments on transgender people: after Daniel Radcliffe, it's the turn of another Harry Potter actor to attack the writer. Although she has just celebrated the UK Supreme Court's decision to exclude trans women from the legal definition of "woman," she nevertheless remains firm in her beliefs.

It is on X that the debate (if we can call it a debate) on the transgender issue is the most virulent. Everyone defends their point of view on the issue, more relevant than ever since the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom defined the term "woman" on April 16 as based solely on biological sex. The author of Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling, has defended this definition for years, supported by some and condemned by others. While Pedro Pascal, the star of The Mandalorian, recently attacked the novelist, it is the turn of an actor from the saga to attack her in a roundabout way.

Several internet users have pointed out the comedian's ingratitude towards a franchise thanks to which he was able to make a (small) name for himself, to which he retorted :

Is there any other area of work or personal life in which people regularly suggest that you owe undying loyalty to any former colleague whose success you shared in, regardless of subsequent events?

And he probably won't be the last franchise actor to speak out on the subject...
