As announced two weeks ago, Samsung is extending the long-awaited update to One UI 7.0, based on Android 15, to Europe. Owners of Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra located in Germany, Poland or the United Kingdom can already benefit from it. A gradual rollout that should arrive in France very soon.

Galaxy S24 users in Europe are finally benefiting from the update stable update to One UI 7.0. Initially reserved for beta testers, it is finally starting to appear for the general public in Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom. The firmware, identified by version S9x8BXXU4BYCG, also includes the April 2025 security patch.
This update offers a complete overhaul of the user interface, with smoother animations and improved responsiveness. One UI 7 also brings the new contextual "Now Bar," designed to simplify navigation and interactions with different apps. Samsung is also taking the opportunity to enrich its system applications and widgets. Other notable new features include more customization options, new visual effects, and better integration with Google's Gemini Assistant.
How to install One UI 7.0 on your smartphone
To check if the update is available on your Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra, simply go to Settings > Device maintenance > Software update > Download and install. A word of warning: The file size is large, so make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection and restart your phone after installation.
This update also brings improved performance and improved device security. Other devices, such as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6, are also expected to receive One UI 7.0 in the coming hours.
