Samsung unveils two new tablets: the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+. They replace the 2023 Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ and join the S10+ and S10 Ultra, which the Korean company unveiled at the end of 2024. New design. Updated specs. Integration of artificial intelligence, just like on smartphones. All for a price that hasn't changed significantly. Presentations.
At the end of 2024, Samsung presented the Galaxy S10+ and S10 Ultra. These two high-end tablets largely replicate the experience offered by the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. We tested both models. And the results are good, both for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the gargantuan Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Samsung is therefore taking great care with its tablet range, the only one to really compete with Apple's iPads in terms of sales figures.

Three months later, Samsung is completing its tablet offering with the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+. They replace the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ that the Korean firm unveiled in the fall of 2023. In a year and a half, the formula has obviously been modernized with new components, a design more in line with Galaxy S smartphones and a nice selection of functions linked to artificial intelligence. Let's take a closer look.
Samsung refreshes the look of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE
The changes start with the design. Both tablets share the same design as the S10+ and S10 Ultra, with flat edges, rounded edges, visible antenna separations, an aluminum chassis, and a color-matched camera frame. Samsung also uses the attractive blue color of the brand's latest premium tablets, in addition to silver and anthracite. The thickness of the S10 FE and S10 FE+ has been reduced by 8% to 6 millimeters. As for their weight, it is 500 grams and 600 grams, respectively. Finally, both slates remain IP68 certified.
On the technical specifications side, there are also some changes. First of all, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is larger than the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+: its screen goes from 12.4 inches to 13.1 inches. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE retains the same size as the previous tablet, at 10.9 inches. The bezels are also thinner, offering more screen space. The panels are LCD and not AMOLED like the S10+ and S10 Ultra. The definition is Full HD+. The ratio is 16/10. The refresh rate is 90 Hz. The maximum brightness is announced at 800 nits (HBM).
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE inherits the AI functions of the Galaxy A56
The heart of the system is modernized: the Exynos 1380 is replaced by the Exynos 1580 which we find in particular in the Galaxy A56 tested in our columns in March 2025. The expected performances should therefore be similar. The SoC is accompanied by 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, even for the smaller of the two tablets. The previous model only had 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. For storage, the two levels remain unchanged: 128 GB or 256 GB, both expandable by microSDXC.
Another similarity with the Galaxy A56, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ benefit from the same AI benefits: “Circle to search”, “Smart selection”, Gemini, AI translation, magic eraser, solving math equations and even the famous Now Bar that we discovered with the Galaxy S25. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ also benefit from the same Android update and security patch duration as the Galaxy A56: 6 years.
Last interesting details about the configuration of the two tablets: the photo sensor on the back is a model 13 megapixels, while the selfie sensor is a 12 megapixel model. There is no second ultra-wide-angle sensor on the back, confirming that photographic use is anecdotal on this type of product. The integrated batteries here are identical to the previous models: 8000 mAh and 10090 mAh. The charging power remains at 45 watts. Finally, both tablets benefit from a complete range of accessories: Book Cover Keyboard, Book Cover Hybrid, S-Pen Creator Edition stylus, etc.
