The Samsung S95F is imminently available in France. It is quite simply the manufacturer's most ambitious OLED model. The promises are great, but the prices will make this product inaccessible for many.

Samsung is continuing its efforts to develop its range of OLED televisions. The manufacturer has adopted Samsung only introduced this technology for its TVs a few years ago, much later than LG or Sony, preferring before that to highlight its own QLED panels. But the South Korean brand has been making steady progress on OLED for several years, and its new S95F model is likely to establish itself as one of the best high-end OLED TVs on the market.

The S95F series is available in four screen sizes: 55, 65, 77 and 83 inches. While the S90F and S85F, other recent OLED references from Samsung, have a display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, the S95F goes up to 165 Hz for even greater fluidity.

The manufacturer also announces an improved anti-reflective treatment, as well as higher brightness, reaching 2,000 nits. Brightness is often the weak point of OLED screens, it seems that Samsung has found the solution here. The S95F is expected to be one of, if not the brightest OLED TVs available today.

A new processor, the NQ4 AI Gen3, also makes its debut. It optimizes the contrast, brightness, depth, and colors of each scene. With 128 neural network computing units (compared to 20 on the previous generation), the S95F's brain becomes much more efficient for AI tasks. The Samsung Vision AI features are used to improve the image (scaling of low-definition content, noise reduction, motion smoothing, etc.) and the sound of the device, but also to offer some advanced features.

Among them, we have the Click to search. A special button on the remote lets you invoke AI to get information about what's on screen, like the actors' filmography, for example. This is the equivalent of the Circle to Search feature available on Galaxy smartphones. An instant translation function (French is compatible) for subtitles, integration with the SmartThings connected home, and TV control with your Galaxy Watch are also on the program.

Pre-orders for the S95F open on April 23, 2025, for a May 7 release. Expect to pay around €3,000 for the cheapest model, with the price increasing as the screen size increases. Samsung promises seven years of One UI Tizen updates.
