The Switch 2 will feature an emulator for the GameCube released in 2002. Several games will accompany this release, including some great classics. Here are the ones that have been officially announced.
The advantage of having a Nintendo Switch 2 with the Switch Online subscription is that you can play not only this console, but others as well. A NES, Super NES, GameBoy Advanced, and Megadrive catalog is directly accessible from the platform. The Nintendo Switch 2, which the Japanese manufacturer has just unveiled, adds another string to its bow: GameCube games. The console, released in 2002, has some great titles that we'll be happy to (re)discover.

Some of them, like those available at the launch of the emulator, will benefit from improved graphics and the possibility to reassign the keys depending on the controller used. Initially, Nintendo will not offer many games. The manufacturer has a habit of adding them gradually. For the GameCube, you will initially have to settle for 3 titles.
Here are the GameCube games available on the Nintendo Switch 2 at launch
We start with Zelda Wind Waker, an opus that was much talked about at the time for its artistic direction radically different from the other titles in the series. Next come Soulcalibur II, a legendary fighting game, and F-Zero GX, the futuristic racing game. These last two games can of course be played alone or with several online.
For the occasion, as with the NES, Super NES and Megadrive, Nintendo will offer for sale a replica of the GameCube controller, working both plugged in and wirelessly. It will be equipped with the C button specific to the Nintendo Switch 2.
The Japanese firm has already given an overview of the other games that will enrich the catalog, knowing that while awaiting confirmation, they are likely to change: Super Mario Sunshine, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Mario Smash Football and Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness are among them.
