Since this afternoon, it's official, we know the price and release date of the Nintendo Switch 2. The console will officially arrive on June 5, 2025 worldwide with two versions, a first offered at 469.99 euros offering the console alone. And a version, in a pack, with the game Mario Kart World (digital) offered at 509.99 euros.
While pre-orders should officially start on April 8, we notice that CDiscount already offers the console for sale!
Where Pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2?
The Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive on June 5, 2025. On the agenda? A console offering a new way to play, including mouse mode for the Joy-Con 2, which will allow you to play like on PC. You will also have Game Chat with the new “C button which allows you to considerably improve online gaming with Parties which allow you to chat with your friends, directly from your console!
In terms of features, the Switch 2 will offer 4K when placed on its Dock, as well as 1080p in portable mode. The console has a 120Hz LCD screen, compatible with HDR, allowing you to play games in 120 FPS!
The console will offer launch games like Mario Kart World and CyberPunk 2077, both available from June 5. Starting in July, it will be possible to play the new game Donkey Kong Bananza, which will be one of the console's major exclusives. Later in the year, other games will arrive such as Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Pokemon Legends Z/A, but also the new opus of Hyrule Warrior or even Elden Ring.
Several Switch 1 games, such as The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild or The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom will be able to benefit from an update (paid) update to improve the game and offer additional content.
