The Nintendo Direct dedicated to the Nintendo Switch 2 is loaded with announcements. In addition to Mario Kart 9 and other games announced for the machine, a big surprise came out of the blue: a brand new Zelda game that should definitely please fans of the license.
A brand new Zelda game revealed
Zelda was in the spotlight for this presentation of the Nintendo Switch 2, notably with a brand new game. It is the brand new Hyrule Warriors: The Sealed Chronicles that has just been announced. This will be a prequel to Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in which we will once again have to face hordes of enemies in packs of 100 while playing as heroes from the famous license. The trailer reveals some images of explosive gameplay that already gives desire.
Two big announcements for fans and a little surprise
Not content with announcing a brand new game, the franchise will return with a remastered version of its last two installments: Zelda Breath of the Wild and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. They will both benefit from the console's graphical improvements and new features. They will notably benefit from HDR, a better resolution as well as a higher frame rate.
Added to this is a major new feature for those who tend to get lost in the vastness of the open world, Nintendo is launching a mobile application dedicated to the Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the two games which will be equipped with a whole host of features. In particular, you will be able to find your way, important places, but also the famous hidden Korogus. You will also be able to share your creations made with the building system in Tears of the Kingdom.
