After Pokémon Legends: Z-A, still scheduled for the end of 2025, Nintendo should offer us the chance to discover the 10th generation of Pokémon next year on Switch 2. A project that has been leaked for a while, whose code name is said to be Gaia, and which would take us to a region based on the Greek Cyclades. To keep us going, Pokémon fan artists, like dean_artist_astray, are imagining the possibilities.
A new region and its Pokémon
On Hitek, we take pleasure in regularly sharing the creations of talented Pokémon fan artists. Macilento, dhio,Matratzfratz, the creations are coming one after another from these artists, and it's for our greatest pleasure. And recently, it's a certain_artist_astray who has embarked on a new long-term project: Pokémon Legends: Eternal. In 2023, he embarked on the creation of his own Pokémon region, set 3,000 years before the events of Pokémon X and Y.
Pokémon Legends: Eternal is not intended to become a real game, but remains a fan art project whose universe is imagined from A to Z, just like its Pokédex. In this ancient region of Kalos, Pokémon exist, but are sometimes different from their current counterparts. Thus, the starters are Snivy, Scorbunny and Piplup, the project has its own Poké-mounts and a very specific gimmick: ancient Pokémon. Old versions of existing Pokémon, like what Pokémon Scarlet and Purple were able to share with the Paradox Pokémon of the past and future.
an_artist_astray then imagines old versions of Sancoki and Gastrodor, Cabriolaine and Chevroum, but also full-fledged Pokémon like those of Seviper and Mangriff. Also included are Eternal Pokémon, different versions of existing Pokémon with unique abilities. All of these creations, an_artist_astray shares on his Instagram account, right here. The publication of this project continues, and we will keep you informed of its progress.
