Prime Video launched a new TV game concept with LOL: Who Laughs, Comes Out. The platform hopes to continue building on the show's success by releasing it with a new version called LOL: IRL, the cast of which has just been revealed.

In 2021, Amazon Prime Video subscribers discovered the show LOL: Who Laughs, Comes Out presented by Philippe Lacheau. This is a comedy TV game show adapted from the Japanese format Hitoshi Matsumoto Presents Documentary. The concept is simple: each season, comedians or celebrities spend several hours locked in a loft. The goal is to make others laugh without ever laughing themselves. If this is the case, the person who reacts is penalized with a yellow card, then a red card, resulting in the player's elimination. The last person left in the game leaves with a prize pool for the charity of their choice.
In previous seasons, the game LOL: Who Laughs, Sorts has featured some notable figures, such as Alexandra Lamy, Pierre Niney, Gérard Darmon, and Muriel Robin. The latter was the source of controversy due to the accusation made against her regarding her bad behavior during the filming of season 5. Despite everything, the program is a must-see for comedy fans and to diversify, Prime Video has decided to innovate this year by offering a Real Life version of the show.
5 celebrities in public places to make strangers laugh
In LOL: IRL, participants will no longer be locked in a studio but in public places. In total, 5 celebrities will challenge each other to make passersby laugh in supermarkets, museums, or even at the cinema, all filmed with a hidden camera. For each laugh provoked by anonymous people, the candidate wins 1 point and at the end of the 6 hours, the two candidates with the most points will compete in a final.
For this spin-off of LOL: who laughs, comes out, Amazon has just revealed the list of celebrities who will participate in this new version of the game. Thus, the public will be able to find comedians Franck Dubosc and Redouane Bougheraba, the singer Clara Luciani, content creator Michou, and finally, influencer Paola Locatelli.
The casting will be propelled into the heart of an airport as indicated by the Amazon publication since this version is titled Spotted at the Airport. As with the original game, Philippe Lacheau will be the presenter. For now, we have no idea when this special edition will be released.
