Avengers Doomsday: Diablo actor teases muscular X-Men role

Alan Cumming, who played the original Nightcrawler in Fox's first X-Men films, will return as the blue mutant for Avengers: Doomsday. After explaining how his role will be different, the 60-year-old actor talks about the superhero's muscular participation in the film.

Now 60 years old, the actor is nonetheless devoted body and soul to his role as a mutant.

We remember the attack on the White House led by Nightcrawler in X-Men 2, while he is under the control of William Stryker: a scene that proves the character's muscular action potential, as well as the beauty of his mutant power. Alan Cumming told the Telegraph that his role in the sequel will be just as energetic, and that his talent for stunts impressed the film crew.

I've been doing stunts these last two days, I'm pretty fit. The stuntmen I work with, who could be my children, are all amazed that I can still walk. They say, "Are you okay? You're really flexible." When I told them I was 60, they said, "What?!"

Statements that imply not only a powerful participation of the X-Men in the fight against Doom, even if it risks ending in their death, but also that the actors are 100% committed to their roles and determined to do their own stunts.
