As a reminder, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 received its first update a week after its launch, which took the form of hotfix 1.2.2 aimed at fixing some urgent bugs. Shortly after its deployment, its French studio Sandfall Interactive implemented another small patch, this time affecting expedition members particularly advanced in the game's progression.
Another update for those who will come after in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
A week and a half after its record-breaking launch, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and its studio have slowly recovered from their dazzling critical success to quickly fix what can be fixed. This first took the form of hotfix 1.2.2, the first of its kind. Another update has been arriving little by little, not taking a name because it targets a specific bug to be patched as soon as possible. However, this one focuses on New Game+, where expedition members could no longer be able to progress in the fight against a certain boss in the Cliffs of Waverock.
This should now be fixed, at least on the Steam version of the game. Note that this small fix for Clair Obscur Expedition 33 will not be deployed on other platforms until later, via a larger update. The French studio Sandfall Interactive had indeed promised earlier to have news to share this week regarding future waves of bug fixes and optimizations coming to the title. We should therefore have news of Expedition 33 in the coming days.
In the more or less near future, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 could also be entitled to new stories, in the form of a DLC or a sequel. For the time being, however, his studio intends to fine-tune its baby, before tackling the creation of a new painting that will come after. It should also be remembered that a film is also in the pipeline, although there has been no further news about it since the game's dazzling release. One thing is certain, however: tomorrow will come.
