In April 2025, Samsung presented its projected schedule for rolling out One UI 7 to more than 80 tablet and smartphone models between April and July 2025. And while we weren't expecting it until June, an update for a very popular smartphone has just appeared on Samsung's servers. Here's how to install it now.
One UI 7 is the latest version of Samsung's interface. It is based on Android 15. It places a lot of emphasis on artificial intelligence, although the importance of the latter depends greatly on the performance of each platform. And it was inaugurated with the launch of the Galaxy S25 in early 2025. You can find a complete report on this new interface in our columns, as well as our tests of the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In April 2025, Samsung announced a schedule for the deployment of One UI 7 on smartphones and tablets already on the market. A very long list that includes around 80 products, most of which are smartphones. You'll find Galaxy A, Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, as well as series unavailable in France like Galaxy M and Galaxy F. All price ranges are affected, even the most economical ones like the recent Galaxy A06 and Galaxy A05s.
One UI 7 is coming to a very popular Samsung smartphone
This schedule indicated that the deployment of One UI 7 would spread over several months, between April and July 2025. But this is only an indicative schedule. There may be delays... or advances. And so it is with some surprise that we learn that One UI 7 is already available on the Galaxy A35, Samsung's very popular mid-range smartphone. And this with a month in advance nonetheless.
The announcement was made on the Samsung forum. This update weighs 4 GB. It not only includes One UI 7 and all its new features (new interface, Now Bar and Galaxy AI integration), but also the improvements of Android 15, as well as the security patch dating from April 2025. And if you don't know how to take advantage of it, we'll tell you everything right after.
