What is certain is that Netflix is using generative AI as part of "experiments to improve the search experience". This feature should allow subscribers to “search for movies or series with more natural wording,” such as “I want something funny and joyful.” For now, only the beta version of the iOS app is affected.

The video streaming giant also announced that a “feed enriched with short clips from Netflix series and movies” was in preparation and would be rolled out in the coming weeks as a test.
