Panasonic TV 2025: Everything you need to know about the new OLED, Mini-LED and LED ranges

Panasonic is back with a new range of televisions for 2025, and the Japanese manufacturer is making no secret of its ambitions. It has taken aspects of the previous range and claims to have pushed them even further, improving picture performance, refining audio precision and optimizing the Panasonic TV Premium experience with Fire TV built-in.

Panasonic OLED 2025: The new trilogy (Z95B, Z90B, Z80B) unveiled

The new series includes a 2025 OLED range which consists of the following models:

  • Z95B (flagship model, available in 55″, 65″ and 77″)
  • Z90B (available in 42”, 48”, 55”, 65” and a new 77” format)
  • Z80B (entry-level OLED model, available in 48”, 55” and 65”)

The Z95B and Z90B models feature the HCX Pro AI MK II processor, offering better picture quality, improved gradation, and advanced noise reduction. The Z80B uses the HCX processor.

The Z95B is equipped with the Primary RGB Tandem panel which uses a four-layer emission structure, improving luminous efficiency by 40%, increasing brightness and expanding the color spectrum. This flagship model incorporates the exclusive ThermalFlow cooling system, inspired by the aerodynamics of racing cars, to dissipate heat more efficiently and maintain maximum panel performance, enabling consistently high brightness.

These models also support Dolby Vision IQ (Z95B, Z90B) and HDR10+ (Z80B), which dynamically adjust the image based on content and ambient light using built-in sensors. Filmmaker mode (Z90B, Z80B), developed in collaboration with Hollywood directors, is also available, preserving accurate image reproduction. On the Z90B, it is combined with Panasonic's Intelligent Sensing technology, which automatically adjusts the image for bright rooms.

In addition, we have a Prime Video calibrated mode on the Z95B to automatically optimize the image settings according to the content on the Amazon platform.

Processor, panel and immersive sound: Panasonic takes care of its 2025 OLED TVs

Panasonic is also improving the sound systems of these televisions, starting with the Z95B which offers a redesigned 360° Soundscape Pro system with an in-line speaker layout (front, upward-facing and side-firing) for wider sound dispersion and a dynamic soundstage. The Z95B's audio system has been tuned by Technics engineers and the Z95B's integrated woofer has an increased power from 20W to 30W, delivering deeper and clearer bass. Also on this model, we find the integrated Space Tune and Sound Focus technologies for personalized sound placement.

Panasonic adds the ambient Fire TV experience and displays artwork, images, or information (weather via widgets) when the TV is not in use. The Z95B, Z90B, and Z80B are Apple AirPlay and Apple Home compatible, allowing content streaming from Apple devices and control via the Home app or Siri.

The design is modern and relatively classic, with a plant design, fabric, and removable connector covers on the Z95B. There is also a pivoting central foot and a reduction in the wall mounting depth.
