While last month was rather disappointing, Sony is making up for lost time in May. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to get their hands on three rather tempting games, including one of last year's biggest hits. These titles will be available for download from May 6th at 11am. In the meantime, don't forget to grab April's games if you're interested.
Cards; Dinosaurs; and Fighting
As you may have guessed, the first game on offer is Balatro. This indie title made headlines in 2024 thanks to its poker mechanics revisited in the style of a rogue-lite. If you like the deck building genre, this is definitely a game you should check out this May on PlayStation Plus.
The second game offered by Sony is Ark: Survival Ascended, the famous survival game released in 2023. It is a remaster of the 2015 game Ark: Survival Evolved in which you must survive in a very hostile environment. Between building, hunting, taming, and exploring, you must be prepared for anything to stay alive and prosper.
The last game offered is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, a retro FPS inspired by games from the 90s. You play as a Space Marine exterminating hordes of demons and heretics with the help of a Bolter. With its pixel-art graphics, frenetic pace, and Warhammer 40K atmosphere, you can't help but love it.
How to enjoy these games?
