Pokemon Pocket continues to fill its shelves at a frenetic pace with new content to satisfy collectors and competitors. So now it's time for the Celestial Guardians expansion, which, like all the others, adds a whole bunch of new cards and mechanics to keep players on their toes, but of course for a limited time. We're setting down our deckchair in the Alola region to see all this in more detail.
A new Celestial expansion for Pokemon Pocket available
Creatures Inc. continues its momentum to bring its free-to-play card game phenomenon Pokemon Pocket to life. After the Radiant Revelry expansion, the mobile title is turning to the stars and beaches with the Celestial Guardians expansion. This takes us to the sunny region of Alola, with the added bonus of 200 new cards to collect. This notably involves specific variations this region of already existing Pokémon, but not only.
Among the new pocket monsters to collect in the form of cards in Pokémon Pocket, we have in particular Brindibou, Litten and Otaquin, the three emblematic starters of the Alola region, new trainers, as well as brand new cards called "Supporter", or even its two legendary Pokémon that are Solgaleo and Lunala. These are also entitled to an ex version, which is more in the form of an "immersive card" in relief to give the impression that they will come out of their frame when viewed from different angles. Each of them will also be highlighted in a special digital booster.
In addition to adding 200 new cards to collect, the Pokémon Pocket Skyward Guardians expansion also adds a limited-time special event, bonus missions, and new accessories to customize your collection. Among the new missions, we can notably mention one allowing you to win a Rayquaza ex. This will however end on May 28, 2025, so don't miss it. Likewise, this new Pokémon Pocket expansion will obviously be limited in time. So don't wait too long if you plan to expand your collection.
