PS Plus: You can try the next free game before everyone else

The PS Plus isn't lacking in great new releases and is increasingly adding day-one titles to its on-demand games catalog upon their release, like Xbox Game Pass. Recently, this was the case for Lost Records. Next month, it will be the turn of a completely different kind of production. But some lucky people might have the opportunity to test it a little early. Here's how to do it!

A game to discover before its arrival in PS Plus

At the beginning of May, all PS Plus subscribers were able to get their hands on the new "free games." Those who have subscribed to an Extra or Premium subscription have access to an on-demand catalog that welcomes new releases every month. At the end of the month, there will be some cleaning up, with a ton of releases, to make room for other productions. Especially since in June, we will be entitled to a day one title.

It's FBC Firebreak, the cooperative multiplayer set in the Control universe. The Remedy Entertainment studio is still at the helm. In this new game, you will participate in teams of three in the cleaning of various areas. Prepare to face a whole paranormal bestiary that will give you a hard time. The experience is due to arrive in PS Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass on June 17, 2025.

In anticipation of this release, Remedy has decided to give you the opportunity to play in advance thanks to a closed technical beta. It will take place from May 15th, starting at 3 p.m. in France, until May 19th, at 10:59 p.m.. This session is open to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Epic Games Store players. To try to participate, it's very simple: request a code via the dedicated form. This will also keep you up to date with FBC Firebreak news leading up to its release on PC and consoles, including PS Plus and Game Pass. The number of places is limited, so don't delay.
