The Galaxy S25 Edge is really thin compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra

Just hours before the official curtain rises for the Galaxy S25 Edge, new images give us a better idea of the smartphone and its wasp waist. The site Android Headlines and the leaker OnLeaks have published several shots of a pre-production unit: things could still change, even if it seems quite unlikely.

Latest leaked photos of the Galaxy S25 Edge

The interest in these leaked photos lies mainly in the comparisons with a Galaxy S25 Ultra. The large smartphone measures 8.2 mm thick, which can hardly be described as "big." But the Edge model promises to be even thinner, with an estimated thickness of 5.85 mm. A sheet of metal of sorts!

The site also reveals the three possible colors of the Galaxy Edge: silver, black and what looks like the silver blue titanium of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The images unsurprisingly confirm the presence of two photo sensors on the back (Samsung had the opportunity to present to the public some non-functional units of the device at MWC in February). For the rest, the device should integrate a 6.7-inch QHD screen and a Snapdragon 8 Elite "for Galaxy" - we are curious to see how the manufacturer has managed the potential overheating: the frequency of the chip could thus be limited.

As for the battery, you'll probably have to settle for average battery life with a 3900mAh battery. That's 100mAh less than the Galaxy S25. Finally, there's the crucial question of price: this slimness might come at a high price, with the price being €1,249. Samsung will release all the details later tonight (2 a.m. Paris time).
